Libra Zodiac Plush Bag Charm | Lucky Stars Zubenelgenubi

It's hard to choose, so we did it for you. The Celestial Buddies Lucky Stars Libra Buddy is a cute zodiac plush bag charm inspired by Zubenelgenubi, one of the two brightest stars in Libra. This seafoam-green star plush holds a pair of shiny silver scales and wears a thoughtful, slightly torn expression any Libra weighing their options will relate to.

Clip it to a backpack, purse, or keys with its star-shaped clip, then read the card to learn the story behind the zodiac's most fun-to-say star name.

Meet your star: Zubenelgenubi

The astronomy: Zubenelgenubi is a double star about 75 light-years away. It sits almost exactly on the ecliptic, the Sun's yearly path across the sky, so the Moon and planets often pass close by it.

The mythology: Libra is the only zodiac sign that isn't a living creature. Its scales are often linked with Astraea, the Greek goddess of justice, who weighed fairness and truth.

The name: Zubenelgenubi comes from Arabic for "the southern claw." Long ago, Libra's stars were seen as the claws of the neighboring scorpion, and the old name stuck.
